Pet Burials

Topic: Recently in Louisiana a Bill was proposed to allow pets to be interred in human cemeteries; it was rejected by the Senate committee as recommended by our LA Cemetery Association due to many unaddressed issues in the Bill.

I am now on the committee to help re-write the Bill to be proposed next year.   We know there are about 4 states allowing pets to be interred in human cemeteries with some restrictions.

Does anyone reside in those states that have enacted law to allow pet burials, and do you have any experience with allowing or refusing pet burials in your Catholic Cemetery?
